Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information e11hours AI Studio collects, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies when you visit e11hours.com, contact e11hours AI Studio, use DeskHop or another e11hours product, or receive custom software and automation services from us.

e11hours AI Studio operates in Mauritius and Canada. We handle personal information under applicable privacy laws, including the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act where they apply.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, business details, and the contents of messages you send.
  • Project requirements, workflow information, files, and feedback you choose to share.
  • Account details if an e11hours service offers sign-in.
  • Purchase and transaction details if paid products or services are offered. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us unless clearly stated.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, device and browser type, approximate region, referring page, and basic website or app activity.
  • Security, crash, diagnostic, and performance information needed to keep services working.

Information handled for clients

When we build or operate a custom solution for a client, we may process information on that client’s instructions. The client remains responsible for deciding why and how that information is used unless a written agreement says otherwise.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries and discuss potential work.
  • To provide, maintain, secure, and improve our website, products, and services.
  • To design and deliver custom software around a client’s workflow.
  • To manage accounts, support, billing, transactions, and service notices.
  • To investigate misuse, prevent fraud, protect users, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To send marketing only when permitted and with a way to unsubscribe.

We collect and use only the information reasonably needed for these purposes. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it, subject to legal or contractual limits.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers that help with hosting, security, communications, authentication, analytics, payments, storage, or support.
  • Professional advisers when needed for legal, accounting, insurance, or business advice.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, services, or users.
  • A successor organisation in connection with a merger, financing, reorganisation, or sale, subject to appropriate protections.

Providers may use information only to perform their agreed services and must protect it appropriately.

5. International processing

Because we operate in Mauritius and Canada and use online service providers, information may be processed outside your country. Privacy laws in another country may differ and information there may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or regulators.

Where required, we use contractual, organisational, and technical measures intended to provide an appropriate level of protection for cross-border transfers.

6. Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We then delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it.

We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide access to it.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete information that is no longer required or restrict certain uses.
  • Provide information in a portable form where the law provides that right.
  • Withdraw consent or object to certain processing or marketing.
  • Explain a decision based solely on automated processing, where applicable.

Send requests to e11hours@duck.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as applicable.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our hosting and security providers may use essential cookies or similar technology to deliver and protect the website. We use Google Analytics to understand daily visitors, page views, popular pages, referring sources, approximate country, device and browser type, downloads, scrolling, and video engagement. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies and process technical information such as your IP address. Google Analytics does not provide the full IP address to us.

We have disabled Google signals and advertising-personalisation signals for this website. We do not use Analytics to show personalised advertising. You can restrict cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We will provide any additional consent controls required by applicable law.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without appropriate authorisation.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. We will provide additional notice where required.
